D'Oro Tourist Farm is a 140 hectare cattle property in Freshwater Creek, ten minutes from Torquay. Run by Doug and Jan who is a qualified teacher, it has been in their family for over 50 years.
The cattle property includes "Chartwell" Murray Grey Stud , D'oro Donkey Stud, Suffolk Sheep and Boar Cross Cashmere Goats.
Open daily they have a wide range of animals and are surrounded by 32 hectares of natural bushland.

Day Visitors Welcome
$15 for adults, $10 children - includes using all facilities on the farm and are free to roam. Special program for group bookings may include; butter making (takes about 1 hour), farm walk which includes; feeding Cashmere Goats, Alpacas, Cows and Calves, Chooks and Ducks; short Donkey cart drive. (Saddle donkeys also available for led rides if required). A feature of the program is "Butter Making Participation." Everyone has a turn at churning the cream into butter.
