Overview
Johanna River Farm and Self Contained Cottages offer pet friendly cottages and farm stay at Johanna beach. Situated midway on the Great Ocean Walk and located in the Otway National Park just off the Great Ocean Road, between Apollo Bay and the 12 Apostles at Johanna Beach, which incorporates The Great Ocean Walk and central to all the highlights of the Great Ocean Road and Otway National Park.
Secluded one bedroom spa cottage or family two bedroom self-contained and fully equipped cottages with beautiful views across the farm to the ocean. Wood fire and equipped with every comfort to make your stay enjoyable and relaxing.
Guests are welcome to explore the 280 acre farm; meeting friendly farm animals, picking fruit and herbs from the orchard, collecting eggs from the chickens, bird watching, or exploring fern gullies and bush walking along the river. Torchlight walks under big starry skies to view the glow worms in the fern gully.
The property is located centrally to a range of attractions and activities and all are within an easy scenic drive. The Otway Fly Tree Top walk and the waterfalls and fern gullies of the cool temperate rainforest, and the glow-worms at Melba Gully are a great night time attraction. Visit nearby seaside towns, including the 12 Apostles and the Shipwreck Coast along the way. Down the road is Johanna Beach, a wild surf beach, untamed often deserted and ideal for coastal walks like the Great Ocean Walk, surfing or surf fishing.

Cancellation and booking policy
A deposit is required to confirm your booking. Balance is payable during your stay. Deposits are non-refundable with less than 21 days notice of cancellation. However, they will make every effort to re-book the cancelled dates. If the cancelled dates are re-booked, deposit will be refunded - less admin fee 10 per cent. For High Season bookings, when balance of accommodation is payable 14 days prior to arrival, total accommodation fee is non-refundable with less than 14 days notice of cancellation.Again, they will make every effort to re-book - in which case the total accommodation tariff, less admin fee, will be refunded. In the event of cancellation an admin fee of 10 per cent of deposit applies to bookings regardless of amount of notice.

Family Fun
At Johanna River Farm and Cottages, all the family including the family pet are welcome. The farm offers families all the comforts in fully self-contained cottages with new kitchens and furniture. 'L' shaped lounge and dining areas, large veranda and master bedrooms overlook the farm and ocean view. A second bedroom has a single bed and a bunk bed.
The kids will appreciate the DVD's and story books in the book shelf and adults are catered to with queen size master bedrooms, quality linen, doonas, and towels, CD stereo, wood fire heating, plunger coffee, a selection of teas, fresh flowers and locally made aromatherapy soaps. Not to mention the beautiful setting.
There is plenty to explore on the 280 acre farm. Bushwalking along the Johanna River, meeting the friendly farm animals, feeding the pet sheep, ponies and donkeys, collecting eggs for the new chook house or try your luck fishing from the dams that are stocked with trout and bass.
