Overview
Sandpiper Motel is Apollo Bay's newest motel. The property has been completely remodelled and now offers simple, stylish and contemporary accommodation suitable for both holiday makers and those that have business in the area. The motel is 100 metres from a safe swimming beach and 350 metres from the centre of town.
Much of the external timber has been recycled from buildings and structures from around Australia. In fact the boardwalk uprights were taken from a wharf in Cairns, Queensland. The reception floor is made from Spotted Gum rescued from a shop in Geelong.
They have installed rainwater tanks to harvest the rain that falls on the motel. They recycle the rain water in the laundry and in some of the motels toilets. This makes good business sense as it saves them money but it also makes them a more sustainable business.
The motels gardens have been planted with native species where ever possible. They require less water and give the property a very Australian feel, whilst doing their bit to protect the environment.

Deluxe Spa Room | The Deluxe Spa Room is designed to provide all the facilities to enable our guests to relax and treat themselves to a good break. the room is slightly larger than our others and has an oversize bathroom in which a large corner spa bath is installed. The room also has a sofa and coffee table giving it the feeling of a fully fledged suite. It has a modern LCD TV and DVD to help you enjoy your stay. Cancellation and booking policy
In order to hold a reservation we will keep a Credit Card number on file. In the event of a cancellation we require at least 48 hours notice. If this condition is not met and we are unable to re-sell the room we will charge the card number held on file for one night's accommodation at the booked rate.
