Cumberland Lorne Resort is located in the heart of Lorne on the spectacular Great Ocean Road in Victoria, under two hours drive from Melbourne.

Directly opposite the famous surf beach and bordered by the Otway Ranges, Lorne is the ideal holiday destination. Cumberland has superbly appointed one and two bedroom and penthouse apartments all with private spa and balcony as well as fully equipped kitchen and laundry. Resort facilities include an indoor heated pool and spa, toddler's pool, sauna, tennis, squash courts, surf equipment and Endota Spa.

Stroll the main street; visit boutiques, shops and art gallery. Explore cool fern gullies and cascading waterfalls via more than 50 kilometres of sign-posted walking tracks within Angahook, Lorne State Park. The closest waterfall to Lorne is Erskine Falls, just a short drive from town.

Enjoy the sun, sand and gentle surf at the Lorne main beach. Sip a drink at a pub or on the pier while watching the local fisherman unloading their catch. Visit the local fishing co-op where you can buy freshly caught produce or go fishing. Cast out a line into the river or surf.

Stop for a picnic at Scotchman's Hill, the tree-lined reserve above the beach with fine views of Louttit Bay and the township.

One Bedroom Apartment

The one bedroom apartment at Cumberland is ideal for couples who seek a combination of privacy, space and luxury. Two Bedroom Apartment

The two bedroom apartment is ideal for families or friends. The main bedroom features a queen size bed, the second bedroom has two single beds and the living room incorporates a pull-out sofa bed. The spacious open plan living space with full size kitchen is perfect for entertaining. Each of Cumberland's apartment types feature a large bathroom with corner spa plus laundry facilities. Enjoy ocean or garden views from the private balcony.30

Penthouse Apartment

The two storey penthouse apartment offers the ultimate in luxury and style. The ample space makes this apartment perfect for two couples or a large family. Downstairs is an open plan living/dining area, fully equipped kitchen, private balcony, master bathroom with corner spa and second bedroom with zip king or two single beds. Move upstairs to the master bedroom with private ensuite including corner spa bath, and enormous rooftop terrace, perfect for outdoor entertaining, dining and sunbathing.9

Cancellation and booking policy

A credit card is required to secure the booking. Any cancellations received less than 48 hours prior to arrival date will incur a cancellation fee of the first nights accommodation or $100.00 in the case of one night stays. Cancellations more than 48 hours from the arrival date will incur a $20 administration fee.

Local directions

Entering Lorne from Melbourne, continue along the main street to the second roundabout, opposite the surfclub and turn right up Bay Street and right again into the Cumberland's driveway.
