Hailed by National Geographic Traveler as one of the best ecolodges in the world, the Great Ocean Ecolodge offers an incredible lifetime experience. Enjoy comfortable lodge accommodation while treading very lightly on the earth, observe wild kangaroos, koalas and incredible birdlife in the company of ecologists, share close encounters with endangered Tiger Quolls, participate in conservation projects and stroll along private woodland tracks.

From the moment you wake and see the wild kangaroos peacefully grazing outside your bedroom window, you will know why the Great Ocean Ecolodge is a very special place. Established and operated by the Conservation Ecology Centre, all profits from the Ecolodge are directed to wildlife conservation and the Ecolodge itself is entirely solar powered and ecologically responsible, resting gently in the landscape. This is place where you can help the world as you have a holiday!

Enjoy fine dining, with home grown, organic produce from the extensive Kitchen Gardens, served with local boutique wines and beers.

With only five guest rooms your experience at the Great Ocean Ecolodge will be unique and personal and exclusive bookings are available.

The Great Ocean Ecolodge perfectly complements your Great Ocean Walk. After a wonderful day exploring the spectacular forests, beaches and cliff tops, relax in comfortable luxury at the beautiful, solar powered Ecolodge. Whether you plan a fully assisted and guided experience, or prefer to walk independently, they are delighted to help create your perfect itinerary, including transfers, picnic lunches, massages and tours.

The Great Ocean Ecolodge offers some very special all-inclusive Great Ocean Walk packages and can create personalised itineraries, whether you would like to walk the entire 104 kilometres or just a few sections of the Walk.
