Located on the edge of Devils' Gully in Elingamite, Oak Weaving Studio offers people a chance to see a working weaving studio all complete with an array of looms and spinning wheels.

A textile and fibre artist, Lilliah McCulloch's passion is commissioned tapestries, but then any weaving or spinning project is her passion; experimenting with special designs, colours and lengths.

Lilliah can make rugs, lengths of cloth, ponchos, scarves, wraps, rag rugs all to suit your purpose of needs and have an interesting range of collectables and potted plants for sale. In addition, there is also a wide range of hand woven items for sale and hand spun yarns to choose from. Orders are taken for both weaving and hand spun yarns.

Visitors are made feel very welcome and have the chance to learn about the workings of the looms and the spinning wheels.

Make a point of dropping in while you are in the marvellous Great Ocean Road region in south-west Victoria. Oak Weaving Studios is located on a five acres, where you can see geese, chooks, sheep and Reggy, Lilliah's ex-race horse (saved after going lame after his last race) and of course the dogs.

So drop in for a look, have a complimentary tea or coffee and see how a weaver works.

Lilliah also offers classes in both weaving and hand spinning. Contact Oak Weaving Studio for more information.
