Overview
The 12 Apostles, (Great Southern Gateway) tour departs Apollo Bay with the Otway Ranges as a backdrop. Track on the outbound leg to the historic Cape Otway Light station. Fly along the coast where no roads or vehicles go with 12 Apostles Flightseeing!
Ponder and reflect upon the Australian mainland's first light station. In its heyday 100 sailing ships per day entered the hazardous strait after a gruelling non-stop journey from Liverpool.
Fly onward up this most breathtaking coast past Moonlight Head, Historic Loch Ard Gorge, the 12 Apostles Monoliths, and on to the Bay of Islands (optional).
Home via the Otway Rainforest and descend into tranquil Apollo Bay.
