Park Trek Walking Holidays have been running trips along the Great Ocean Walk ever since the walk opened. In fact they were visiting a number of the locations that have since been opened up by this marvellous walk since 2001.

Park Trek trips start and end in Melbourne and for your four days away, they will take care of all the meals, the guiding and the accommodation at the Cape Otway Light station; which is easily the most picturesque location of the entire Great Ocean Road. It is 3.5 star rooms make for a most comfortable place to rest and revive stiff and sore muscles.

Organic food is a feature of all of the trips and you'll enjoy eating the most healthy and well prepared dinners, as well as an abundance of food available for lunch, breakfast and in between. A generous selection of fine bottled wines are available every evening and there is always a fresh brew of quality coffee percolating away on the food servery.

The trips are always run with two guides who are the most genuine, friendly, and competent amongst their profession. If the group size exceeds eight to ten (usually the case) they harness the skills of our wandering chef Melanie who excels in preparing the most delicious meals for their guests.

The walking is always with small lightweight walking packs, usually not weighing much more than 4 -5 kilograms. They have chosen the best sections of the walk to maximise your time away.

Daily distances are between 8 - 16 kilometres depending on your needs and ability. They often pluck people off the walk at a half way point if they feel they have achieved enough for the day.

Trips cost is $980.00 (including GST) per person for their four day trip.
