Tower Hill Wildlife Reserve is located at the heart of the spectacular Great Ocean Road region. The only wildlife reserve west of the popular Twelve Apostles and just ten minutes from the coastal tourism hub of Warrnambool, you will discover the naturally diverse offering of the exquisite Tower Hill State Game Reserve.

Tower Hill Wildlife Reserve is the ideal place for visitors to experience the Australian bush, enjoy magnificent scenery and landscapes. Get up close and personal with some of Australia's most iconic native birds and animals including emus, koalas, kangaroos, echidnas, wedge-tail eagles and other exotic animals.

Tower Hill Wildlife Reserve sits inside a dormant volcano that has a spectacular 11 kilometres crater rim. The volcanic cones rise from a lake bed in a formation known as a nested maar, which occurred as a result of the volcanic dome collapsing on itself.

This area is now home to a plethora of wildlife that provides visitors with the rare opportunity to witness animals at close range in their natural habitat.

It is a site of ecological and geological significance and a showcase for indigenous history.

While visiting Tower Hill Wildlife Reserve go on a personalised bush and nature walking tour and learn about traditional Aboriginal culture, geology and wildlife.

The personalised bush and nature walking tour is a 60 minute interactive walk conducted by the experienced guides at Tower Hill Wildlife Reserve and provides an exclusive opportunity to explore the wildlife and discover the natural habitat of some of Australia's most iconic native animals.
