The popular tourist town of Torquay will host the very first Sustainable Hook & Vine Festival, promising to be one of the biggest events of the summer.
Situated at the beginning of the Great Ocean Road with the waves from the surf beach rolling in just a few hundred metres away, Torquay is centrally located to provide you with some of the best locally sourced seafood, wine, beer and cider from the Surf coast Shire and the surrounding Moorobool Valley.
Local restaurants will come together to provide patrons with a selection of gourmet seafood tasting plates so you can try what the region has to offer without having to venture too far from your picnic rug. Amazing sustainable seafood dishes will prove you won't go without by choosing ocean friendly produce. Don't worry if you prefer other food options, there will be plenty of variety to suit all taste buds.
The Surf Coast and Moorobool Valley are home to some amazing wineries, many hand picking and sustainably harvested. Festival goers will have the opportunity to sample a wide variety of wines and meet local winemakers.
Throughout the day, you can enjoy amazing live music by local artists, join in the fun at the kids entertainment zone and even stomp on grapes, all whilst sitting back on your picnic rug and enjoying an awesome day out with friends and family.
