The Queenscliff Music Festival (QMF) has a veritable banquet of performers set to visit the charming coastal town this late Spring. With a reputation for providing an intimate festival experience that threads its way through the quaint little venues in town, the festival grounds and gorgeous seaside views all within minutes walking distance, it is no wonder that a number of last year's performers proclaimed it the best festival ever, and punters hastily re-booked for 2014 before any names were announced or even Early Bird tickets went on sale.
Perhaps it's the choice of cosy houses to retreat to or nearby camping, the cafes and restaurants in town or the expanding selection of gourmet food and beverage options inside the festival grounds, or the symbiosis between QMF and the Queenscliff community who together take pride in shining a light on the physical beauty and open-armed hospitality of their town. Whatever it is, Queenscliff is a festival to be experienced with all five senses and not a weekend of being cattle prodded around cramped stages.
