The Great Ocean Road International Marathon, Festival of Running, Walking and Wheeling is a six-race concept caters for runners, walkers and wheelchair participants of all ages and abilities over two days.

The Half Marathon will also be held on Sunday, starting from Kennett River and finishing in Apollo Bay.

The road from Lorne to Apollo Bay provides the most spectacular and challenging course of any marathon in the world.

Disabled access

The TAC Wheelchair Athletes' Challenge is held on Saturday, 17 May 2014. It is a 14km event open to all wheelchair athletes of all abilities. Wheelchair Sport Victoria assist with transport of athletes from the airport to Apollo Bay and return.
