Surf Coast Walks - Guided Walks

Surf Coast Walks - Guided Walks invites you to discover the glistening vistas of the southern ocean with fascinating rock formations and rock-pools, and coastal heath-land with its fascinating wildlife.

Explore volcanic lava flows, spot some of the fossil history, and marvel at the forces of nature. Hear stories of the wreck of the Inverlochy one moonlit night in 1902 or of the rum barrels that mysteriously went missing from the Joseph Scammel shipwreck. This walk takes you along the coast from the sleepy hamlet of Anglesea to Aireys Inlet and includes walking along the beach and some rock-hopping.

Conclude the walk with a visit to the Split Point Lighthouse and discover the heritage of the light-keepers who watched over this fascinating coast. You might even see a Shy Albatross, a breaching whale or amazing shell fish. The distance covered is nine kilometres with a duration of six hours.
