Lavender Hue is nestled in an idyllic lush riverside setting in charming Harrietville, not too far south of Bright.

Set back 80 meters from the Great Alpine Road, guests can overlook lavender fields and stunning cottage gardens from the bedroom balcony. Alternatively barbecue on the kitchen balcony with the tranquil sounds of the sparkling Ovens River in the background, located only 25 meters away.

Harrietville is a little subalpine village at the foot of Mount Hotham, rich in the history of the goldfields and the cattlemen of the High Country. With its cafes, two hotels and general store, it caters for skiers in winter months, while in the warmer months bushwalkers, cyclists, holiday makers enjoy the peace and beauty of the Ovens Valley.

Lavender Hue hopes you can take advantage of the proximity of their tearooms below to savour oven fresh scones, biscuits, with fine espresso coffee or Lavender ice cream.

Lavender Hue still distil their own lavender oil on the farm which is used to make a unique range of skin care and other lavender products that are available for sale in the Tearooms or by mail order. Australian Made & Fair Trade Gifts are also sold here.

Coach and special needs groups are welcome by appointment, with specialised packages available, including morning tea.

From Wangaratta turn onto the Great Alpine Road and continue through the towns of Myrtleford and Bright and onto Harrietville. They are on the right as you enter Harrietville which is the last town before the road climb to Mount Hotham.
