Overview
Located in Victoria's beautiful high country Buttercup Cottage is close to the mountains for skiing, bushwalking or rivers for fishing and swimming.
This tastefully-appointed stone cottage provides absolute privacy without the pressures or noise of the city. Relax in the corner spa, curl up in front of the wood fire in winter or laze around on the wide verandahs at other times or the year enjoying the scenery and stunning sunsets. Delicious breakfast choices can be provided for you to cook and enjoy for yourselves when you feel like it.
The two cottage bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms, one with spa bath and one shower bathroom suitable for people with disabilities.
The well appointed kitchen, including dishwasher, means you can hibernate away and cater for yourselves if you wish. Satellite television, video recorder and CD stereo system are all provided for your convenience.
The private apartment provides guests with cosy accommodation including corner spa, wood fire, air conditioning, spacious deck on which to spend your afternoons or cook and eat a barbecue meal. You have exclusive use of the apartment which offers two bedrooms and well appointed kitchen. Satellite television and DVD are provided with selection of tapes and CD stereo system provided.
Nearby is horse riding, the delightful Delatite River for fishing or swimming, an hotel for an excellent country counter meal, and access to Mts Buller and Stirling, both well known for their winter snow skiing and off season, walking, bike riding, wild flowers and stunning views of the Great Divide. Clear Hills on Mt Stirling is the home of the last remaining film set from the Man From Snowy River Movies, Craig's Hut. This is accessible usually between November and May.

Cancellation and booking policy
Bookings to be confirmed with 50% deposit wihin five days of reservation. Bookings cancelled more than 21 days prior to arrival, deposit refunded less credit card charges and agents' commissions. Cancellations less than 21 days refunded if re-booked, less credit card charges and agents' commissions. Re-scheduling of dates permitted if cancelled dates are re-booked.

Local directions
From the eastern and southern suburbs of Melbourne take the Maroondah Highway to Coldstream, the Melba Highway to Yea and then follow the signs to Mansfield.
From the northern suburbs take the Hume Freeway to the Woodstock cross road. Turn right and continue as far as the Yan Yean roundabout. Turn left to Whittlesea and follow the signs to Yea and on to Mansfield.
From the western suburbs take the Western Ring Road to the Hume Freeway and follow the directions above as for the northern suburbs access.
By car we are 15 minutes to the east of Mansfield and easy to locate by signage. If you reach the Merrijig Hotel (the Hunt Club) you have gone too far and need to backtrack. Our satellite navigation position in metric is South 37.08608 and North 146.24497.
