Kurringai Cottage is a place for relaxation and contemplation. Enjoy a nature-based rural holiday adjacent to the Warby-Ovens Range National Park. The charming cottage has three bedrooms which sleeps six people.

The morning winter sun warms the living room by day. Enjoy an open fire in the evening.

The air-conditioned home is situated in a three acre native garden for wildlife in a peaceful rural setting. Enjoy the diverse bird life from our North-facing deck and living room both providing views across the Ovens Valley, Mt Buffalo and the Victorian Alps.

Our cottage is close to the newly restored Winton Wetlands for walks and birding. For the hiker or birdo you can set off through the back gate and enter the Warby-Ovens National Park or walk along the tree-lined rural lanes from the front gate. Climb 'Jill's Hill' at the rear of Kurringai Cottage.

The cottage is situated in Glenrowan and Taminick wine region. Less than 20 minutes away is Oxley for your morning papers and a coffee. Close by is the Milawa district famous for world class wines, gourmet food and fresh produce. A range of quality restaurants and cafes are within a short drive from the cottage.

Cycling in the region is popular and there are many great road rides or mountain biking in the Warby Ovens National Park. The Wangaratta - Glenrowan loop and Taminick Gap ride are favourites with local and visiting riders.  

This home is situated 230 km from Melbourne, 20 minutes drive to Wangaratta and 15 minutes drive to the historic town of Glenrowan where bushranger Ned Kelly made his last stand. Follow the Ned Kelly touring route. Visit Glenrowan for the annual commemoration of the end of the Kelly gang uprising in June.
