Five romantic getaway studios, nestled in rolling pasture next to pristine bush. Complete privacy is secured by lush plantings between the studios.

Each has an open living area with stylish, contemporary furniture and bedrooms featuring custom built king size Queensland walnut timber beds. A groovy bathroom with double rain shower and a free standing bath, in studios one and two, studios three and four have only the double showers, and full glass walls allows private bush views and to watch the peeping wombats.

No corners have been cut in these studios as they have goose down doonas, espresso coffee machine, seductive mood lighting, plush robes and two private decks and absolutely no doilies!

Start the day with a leisurely stroll through lush pasture or take the car for a short drive, if you prefer, to the breakfast lounge which is about 300 metres from your studio and enjoy a sumptuous country style breakfast and a cup of coffee whilst enjoying the sweeping views of Mount Buffalo, which is pure bliss.

Set amid 40 acres of rolling countryside, adjoining lush bush land, the individual retreats offer amazing views over the surrounding vineyards and chestnut groves to Mount Buffalo.

Bright, with its award winning restaurants is only a ten minute leisurely drive away and the local cold climate wineries are always worth a visit.

Cancellation and booking policy

A booking fee of 50 per cent of the total accommodation cost is required within three days of making the reservation. Full payment is due 14 days prior to arrival. Booking fees less a cancellation fee of $50 will be returned if cancellation occurs more than 14 days before check-in date.

Local directions

From Melbourne take the Hume Highway, Exit at Milawa, follow signs to Myrtleford, then Bright. Before you get to Bright, leave the Great Alpine Road at Porepunkah roundabout and turn into Buckland Valley. After six kilometres turn left into McCormack's Lane. From Albury take the Hume Highway, Exit at Wangaratta which is Great Alpine Road. Follow Signs to Myrtleford. Turn off from Great Alpine Road at Porepunkah roundabout into Buckland Valley. After six kilometres turn left into McCormack's Lane.
