Join Buckle Up Bushrides on their Four Day Craig's Hut horse ride and experience the High Country region in a different light.
Meander through Mountain Ash, along the snow trails and over the top of Mt Stirling onto Clear Hills track before sitting back and enjoying the picturesque 360 degree mountain views from Craig's Hut as seen in the Man from Snowy River movies.
On the second day make your way through twisted snow gums to the beautiful Bindaree Falls continuing down to the head of the mighty Howqua River where we set up camp under the stars.
Day three involves many river crossings and sections of High Track with amazing views looking down onto the river, before reaching the seven mile flat for lunch. Ride down the river to the famous Sheepyard and Fry's Flat for the last night of camp on the banks of the Howqua River.
Leaving the Howqua Valley on the final day you will pass through Timbertop Saddle, along Three Chain track to the old stock routes and into the beautiful Delatite and Boorolite Valleys and homeward bound.
This ride offers so much from views across the Great Divide through to ever changing river crossings.
