Victoria's original wine festival, the Rutherglen will once again be the place to be on the June long weekend for the annual Rutherglen Winery Walkabout.

From the beginnings in 1974 when the Winemakers' of north east Victoria joined forces to promote their quality wines, the festival has grown in size and stature. Rutherglen Winery Walkabout now attracts over 20,000 visitors and includes the Rotary Country Fair on the Sunday.

Armed with Walkabout glasses and wrist band, the young, old and in between descend on the wineries for a spectacle not to be missed.

Don't want to drive?
