The Upper Goulburn region's best in food and wine will be on show Mansfield Long Lunch to be held on Sunday 27 April at the Mansfield Showground Ed Harris Pavilion. Guests will be treated to the best sparkling wines on arrival. The red carpet will lead guests into the Pavilion which will be transformed into a "outback" theme. The chefs will come together as "one" helping each other to plate up a delectable repast. Four courses of delicious food will be expertly matched with the best wines from this region; aromatic whites and elegant reds. The marriage of each wine with each dish will be explained to the guests by each chef and winemaker and will play a significant role in the plans for such an event. This year's "feast" whilst still in the planning stage will be coordinated by Megan Knapp of Pure Taste Catering and prepared by selected chefs from the Bonnie Bar (Tom Dunlop), Mansfield Regional Produce Store (Gill Belle), The Deck on High (Ben Davies), The Mill Inn (Michael Beltrame), Magnolia Gourmet Country House (Travis Boltong) and the Mansfield Golf Club (Glen Hughes). Wines from your local Upper Goulburn region will be selected by an independent wine educator with the menu in mind and with the blend of live entertainment; our Long Lunch will no doubt be a success.
