Overview
The Kangaroo Hoppet is Australia's premier long distance cross country ski race. It is a member of the prestigious Wordloppet series of popular international cross country ski events. As well as the main 42km event, there are shorter 21km and 7km events to suit all ranges of age and ability.
The Kangaroo Hoppet is a feast of skiing and social activities at Falls Creek for all ages and abilities leading up to the race itself on the fourth Saturday of August. Spectators are welcome to view the event at the mountain.
