On a tour with Adventure Guides Australia you will abseil the North Wall, a 300 metre abseil down an icon Mount Buffalo National Park wall face.

There are four pitches on the descent. The first is 160 metres and the remainder from 40 to 50 metres using a twin rope pull down system.

Adventure Guides Australia commence the adventure with a briefing and rigging at the Mount Buffalo Chalet then walk to the descent point at the top of the North Wall. On completion of the abseils we have lunch at crystal brook at the base of the wall (might be able to see climbers on one of the famous multi-day rock climbs).

Then its a mountaineering trip to the top of the Gorge again either up the South Wall or via the climbers cairn trail to the top. Complete between six or nine hours!

Please bring along a cap, sunscreen, personal medication as required (such as asthma puffers), lunch, water and energy snacks. They supply industry standard helmets, harnesses and other safety equipment.

Bookings and activity fees must be arranged and paid in advance. Please contact for further information.
