Beechworth Visitor Information Centre and Booking Service is located in the High Country of Victoria and is one of Victoria's best preserved gold towns. There are numerous historic buildings including the Beechworth Historic and Cultural Precinct. The precinct is a series of authentic gold rush administration buildings identified as the most historically significant of its kind in Victoria.

The Beechworth Court House was the scene of countless trials involving Ned Kelly, his family and associates. The 'Street of Shops' and the diverse and interesting collection at the Burke Museum is not to be missed. Information on the Precinct, group bookings and tickets are available through the Visitor Information Centre. Bookings may be made online via their website as well.

Local directions

Beechworth is 306 kilometres from Melbourne, follow the Hume Highway North. Take the Beechworth exit C500 on to the Great Alpine Road. At Tarrawingee turn left on to C315 following the directional signs to Beechworth.
