Overview
Eltham South Lodge is a self-contained unit, set in an acre of bush garden, sleeps up to four people and has everything you need for a home away from home stay.
The main bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed with quality bedding and electric blanket. The second bedroom has two single beds, both with electric blankets. A port-a-cot is available for the smallest guests.
The kitchen is equipped with a full gas stove, microwave oven and refrigerator. Provisions for a continental breakfast for the first two days of your stay are supplied. Relax in the lounge or your own private courtyard garden, cook up a barbecue and enjoy the spectacular visiting parrots and other local wildlife.
Thirty minutes by car from Melbourne and the airport, Eltham has a wide range of restaurants and shops and is on the main train line to Melbourne.
Eltham South Lodge is a short stroll away from the Montsalvat Artists' Community with its fascinating buildings and program of exhibitions, concerts and events.
Eltham has extensive parklands bordering the Yarra River and is renowned for its heritage-listed and mudbrick buildings including the award winning Eltham Library and Community Centre. Children have a great time at the Diamond Valley Railway in Eltham Lower Park. Yarrambat public Golf Course and Eltham Bowls Club are nearby and the Eltham Leisure Centre with swimming and gym facilities.
Meander through Christmas Hills to visit Chandon, De Bortoli and other great wineries of the Yarra Valley and the Healesville Wildlife Sanctuary. Or visit the many boutique wineries and galleries scattered throughout the hills of Nillumbik.

Cancellation and booking policy
A deposit of 50 per cent of tariff is required to secure the booking, balance to be paid on arrival. Full payment in advance for bookings of one night. Cancellation up to and including 30 days prior to booking full refund less fees or charges. 50 per cent refund between 30 and 14 days inclusive. Less than 14 days and more than and no show, no refund of deposit.

Enter Mount Pleasant Road from Main Road Eltham by the Shell Coles Express service station garage. Take the second turning on the Right into Hillcrest Avenue. Then the first turning on the left into Lavender Park Road and left into Kent Hughes Road at the T intersection. Eltham South Lodge is the last property down the hill on the right.
