Olive Cove B&B is a beautifully appointed home set in a neighbourhood of substantial houses with manicured lawns and gardens. Leaving the car behind, at Olive Cove you may stroll to the local children's park - Harbourtown Park, or set out briskly for the three kilometre riverside walk to the shores of Port Philip Bay and Carrum station for a train to the city. For the keen walker, local wetlands are a bird watching haven; and both the north and south bank of the river provide for a pleasant 1 1/2 - 2 hour walk, a six kilometre return trip.You will find Olive Cove is ideally located with easy access to Melbourne city centre via the new three lane, M3 Eastlink tollway, accessed from Thompson Road melway 98 A6 (no traffic lights for 36km). Several outer eastern business precincts - Dandenong, Cranbourne, Monash, Edithvale and Frankston are within a 10 to 17 minutes drive should you need to combine business with a few days R and R. Mornington Peninsular, with its wineries, gardens, water recreation and day spa facilities is a short half hour drive.
