Tonya Jennings has opened up her home on Port Phillip Bay to operate Cooking on the Bay Cooking School. Having trained at Holmesglen, Paris’ Le Cordon Bleu and the Ritz Escoffier and in Burgundy at La Varenne, Tonya offers hands-on classes that focus on Modern Australian cuisine with European twists. Classes are structured around four courses – including appetizers, soups or entrées, main course and dessert. Classes are run for 6 to 8 people and cost $185 per person for approximately six hours. Private group classes are available for friends, professional firms, pre-wedding parties and for those celebrating special occasions.
