Overview
Witness the southernmost point of Australia's mainland, Wilsons Promontory, with Aus Air Services.
Departing Tooradin Airport track for Wonthaggi which is home to the Desalination Plant and Wind Turbines. Tracking alongside Williamsons Beach head for the beachside town of Inverloch, before making way further east to Waratah Bay. From here you will witness the spectacular scenery of this natural peninsula.
The "prom" includes expansive mudflats, sandy beaches and sheltered coves. On the southern tip are prominent headlands and plunging granite cliffs. The Wilsons Promontory lighthouse is also located in this area. On the return to Tooradin overfly the mudflats with Snake Island and Port Welshpool visible in the near distance. With the Strzelecki Ranges out the right window, overfly the township of Leongatha.
The green grass covered hills are the perfect environment for cattle stock and Devondale has a dairy processing plant just North of the town supplying milk-based products for Australia and overseas markets. The final leg of the trip gives beautiful views of Westernport Bay, French Island and surrounding areas before landing back at the Tooradin strip.
