Leadbeater Eco Tours combined both Yarra Valley and Danenongs Day Tour, so you can visit both the Yarra Valley and Dandenong Ranges National Parks in one amazing day.
Start the day winding through the Yarra Valley en route to one of Victoria's true gems, Healesville Sanctuary. You will have a chance to explore 30 hectares of natural bush setting and get up close to Aussie wildlife like Koalas, Emus, Kangaroos, Platypus and Tassie Devils.
Now you head to the Dandenong's and the next gem, Puffing Billy, a century-old steam train run by volunteers. Wave at the locals as you dash through towering trees and awesome vistas.
Next, take a guided walk in one of Victoria's few remaining cool temperate rainforests which are also home to some of the tallest trees in the world, the mighty Mountain Ash. You will be enchanted by the wonders of these delicate eco‑systems and majestic settings.
Last, but by no means least, is a visit to the very special William Ricketts Sanctuary, a place which Billy Connolly described as "the most impressive thing I have seen in Australia".
Discover 92 different mystical sculptures of indigenous people hidden among giant tree ferns.
