Sea Kayak Australia is located just 300 metres from the Maribyrnong river in West Essendon, so you can start kayaking right from where you hire.
Choose from a wide range of single and double kayaks and equipment. If you chose to hire the kayaks for a day or two, please bring the appropriate roof racks or hire a trailer for two or more kayaks.
To hire equipment please ring to avoid disappointment, if you are taking kayaks away for an extended trip. For day hire, please provide one days' notice for hire down the Maribyrnong River.

Cancellation and booking policy
All tours must be booked and paid before commencement of tour. If a tour is cancelled because of bad weather a suitable date for another tour will be scheduled in consultation with the customer. Because sea kayaking is an outdoor activity there may on occasions where it could be raining - the tour will not be cancelled for this reason. Clients who fail to attend a tour will not receive a refund. Clients who are sick or injured before the tour may reschedule however no refund will be provided if they do not decide to take up this option. For group bookings it is the responsibility of the person booking to fill these positions. If not everyone turns up a refund will not be provided as the group has received a discounted rate. For multi day tours at Wilsons promontory a refund will be provided if the tour is cancelled due to poor weather conditions or insufficient numbers. The refund will be 90 per cent of total cost.
