TrustKids! is celebrating Children's Week by putting on a big treasure hunt at Rippon Lea House and Gardens. As usual National Trust and TrustKids! Members get in for free, though for one day only they're opening the gates for all children so they all get in for free. So tell your friends and come hunt for treasure at Rippon Lea!

Activities: Four different treasure hunt activities both in the mansion and in the gardens
- The Mansion Bear Hunt
- Creature Catcher Animals
- Creature Catcher Clues
- TrustKids! Geocaching

Plus face painting, BBQ and food stalls, boat rides, a balloonologist and 12 acres of garden to explore.

Local directions

Train: The property can be easily accessed by train with a 5 minute walk from Rippon Lea Station. Tram: Route 67, Stop 42 Tram Tracker ID 2042, (to Carnegie) - Tracker Stop ID 1042, (to Melbourne University). Bus: 216 or 219 departs from Queen Street in the City on the south east corner of Queen and Collins Streets. Depending on traffic the journey takes 30 - 45 minutes. There is a stop directly outside Rippon Lea Estate. Ask the driver to set you down at the first stop after Glen Eira Road. Car: Parking available locally Mel ref 67 F2.
