Dates: 18 - 21 July 2014
Address: Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI), 2 Swanston Street, Melbourne, Victoria 3000
Phone: 03 8663 2200
Outrage HIV Justice Film Festival examines four aspects of the HIV response and explores through documentary and film-based narratives how people have grappled with these issues in different ways around the world.
Drawing on the wealth of experiences being drawn to Melbourne for the AIDS 2014 International AIDS Conference, Outrage HIV Justice Film Festival brings together filmmakers and guests from around the world, united in wanting to see justice happen around HIV.
Throughout the festival, particular focus will be given to chronicling women's HIV injustices, combating overly broad HIV criminalisation, Australian experiences and responses and how legal and societal injustices harm the HIV response.
Outrage HIV Justice Film Festival is an Affiliated Independent Event of the AIDS 2014 International AIDS Conference, and is a collaboration between ACMI, Victorian AIDS Council/Gay Men's Health Centre, HIV Justice Network and Living Positive Victoria.
Check ACMI website for session details.
