Overview
The Melbourne International Coffee Expo is Australia's largest dedicated coffee event. In 2013, the event will host the World Barista Championships and World Brewer's Cup, two of the largest and most prestigious coffee competitions in the world. Held at the Royal Melbourne Showgrounds, the event brings together all facets of the coffee industry, from baristas to roasters, green bean suppliers to equipment manufacturers.
The event will be limited to trade for 23 and 24 May, but will open to the public from 25 to 26 May where coffee lovers and enthusiasts can see the latest trends in coffee and witness the excitement of the World Barista Championships, where national champions from over 50 countries around the world will battle it out to take home to top title.

World Barista Championships
Melbourne International Coffee Expo will bring the World Barista Championships to Australia for the first time! Baristas from over 50 countries, who have won a their national level, will come to vie for the World title! Baristas have 15 minutes to make four espressos, four cappuccinos, and four signature drinks, while being judged by a panel of six. For information please visit the website.
