Wine making is often water intensive but in this hands-on experience, you'll be introduced to some exciting alternative varieties that are grown using water efficient practices.
Learn about, taste, and then make a wine using the alternate varieties that are transforming the Australian wine industry.
Requiring less water these varieties are providing head way for a more sustainable, drought tolerant industry, and some unique and delicious flavours. Guests will receive a take-home winemaking kit including your active ferment and all necessary equipment to make around 18 bottles of wine. The day isn't all hard work with some of Australia's top sustainable wines there to taste and food from Melbourne's northern suburbs to try, reflecting the full diversity of one of Melbourne's most exciting sub-regions.
