Dates: 15 Sep 2014
Address: Arts Centre Melbourne, 100 St Kilda Road, Southbank, Victoria 3006
After beginning his career in 1926 Harry Lillis ('Bing') Crosby arguably became the most popular recording artist of the 20th Century.
Originally well known as one of the 'Rhythm Boys', he eventually moved into his definitive crooning style in the 1930s and 1940s where he became a household name. During this musical panorama, The Syncopators, in their 30th Anniversary year, will showcase these formative periods of Bing's life including excerpts from his Road to... films and memorable tunes from the hit film High Society.
Settle back and enjoy guest vocalist Ash Gaudion joined by his dad, Peter and backed by the fabulous Syncopators as they present a selection of music from the prolific catalogue of Bing Crosby.
