Whether you're a shower soloist or bedroom diva, come and join in this joyous community singing event inspired by the Victor Hugo: Les Misérables - From Page to Stage exhibition!

Learn the words and melody to the Les Misérables classic 'Do you hear the people sing?', then sing along with a massive community choir under the baton of original Australian Les Misérables cast member Martin Croft.

Performing on the State Library forecourt, the massed choir will be joined by special guest Chris Durling, currently starring in the Melbourne production of Les Misérables in the role of Enjolras, with piano accompaniment provided by musical director Vicky Jacobs.

To prepare for this celebratory event, download the lyrics and four-part harmonies, and start practicing.
