The sixth edition of the Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship will be held from October 23-26, 2014, at the prestigious Royal Melbourne Golf Club in Melbourne, located in Victoria, Australia.

The Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship is the leading amateur golf event in the region. Previous winners include Hideki Matsuyama, now ranked within the world's top 50, and Guan Tianlang, the 14 year old Chinese schoolboy who took the golfing world by storm when he made the cut at the Masters Tournament last year.

The Royal Melbourne Golf Club has two courses, the East Course and the West Course, which are ranked amongst the best in the world. The 2013 Australian Masters and 2013 World Cup were both staged at this beautiful golf club, where some of the world's top-10 golfers, such as Adam Scott, Matt Kuchar and Jason Day, played on this magnificently golf course.

The winner of the Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship will receive an invitation to play in the 2015 Masters Tournament, and, together with the runner(s)-up, will earn a place in International Final Qualifying for the 2015 Open Championship.
