Arts Centre Melbourne is both a defining Melbourne landmark and Australia's largest performing arts centre.

The Theatres Building beneath the magnificent spire houses the State Theatre, with one of the largest stages in the world, for dance, musicals and opera; along with the Playhouse and the Fairfax Studio. On the banks of the Yarra River is concert venue, Hamer Hall and the Sidney Myer Music Bowl located nearby is a hugely popular summertime venue which hosts everything from music festivals to free orchestral concerts.

For more than 30 years, Arts Centre Melbourne has played a leading role in showcasing the best local and international performing arts - music, dance, drama, comedy, cabaret, festivals and much more. Arts Centre Melbourne is host and partner to the national and state companies, together with local companies, festivals and a multitude of commercial partners.

Arts Centre Melbourne is open daily, hosting a diverse range of quality local and international performances throughout the year, as well as offering visitors experiences including guided tours daily at 11:00am, free exhibitions, the Sunday Market every Sunday from 10:00am - 4:00pm and dining options at a number of bars and cafes on site.
