Queenie's Food Tours lets you release your inner Julia Childs with a French Food Tour and Lunch that introduces you to some of Melbourne's best French culinary locations and food producers.

They will then go to a secret gem of Melbourne that has been baking croissants that Francophiles have flocked to for the past 30 years to get croissants!

They also visit one of Australia's finest bread makers for a coffee and find out the secrets to French bread making. Before lunch you can taste some pâté and have the opportunity to buy some for your own kitchen, along with other fine French ingredients.

Lunch will be at one of Melbourne's finest French bistros and will include two courses and a glass of wine. The owner will entertain you with his French know-how and stories of France.

Save some room, however, for after lunch, you will be able to lovingly consume chocolates made by one of Australia's best chocolatiers and a tour of their kitchen. Before heading back to Southern Cross Station, stop off and taste some fine French cheeses and a little more shopping. Why not!

Queenie's Food Tours aim to take you to Melbourne's best foodie locations. Operating all-day mini-bus tours as well as shorter walking tours, all foodie locations are hand-picked and carefully chosen for their quality of produce and of course fantastic food!

The locations being visited include food producers, stores, dessert shops and, on their all-day tours, top bistros or restaurants for lunch.

Queenie's Food Tours is operated by Andrew Prior, whose love of food goes back years and took him to Paris for a year and most recently culminated in his participation as a contestant on season five of MasterChef Australia 2013.

Based in Melbourne and obsessed with good food, Andrew knows Melbourne's food produce intimately. While his love of food crosses continents and cuisines, European food is his primary passion. Queenie's food tours was established to share his experiences and knowledge of Melbourne's food with others.
