Guided tours of Government House from La Trobe's Cottage have returned.
The tours provide a tangible link between the pre-gold rush and Marvellous Melbourne, giving a fascinating insight into the contract between the two properties and the eras they represent.
Although still a working residence today, Government House tours may include the grand State Rooms, the Billiard Room and a visit 'below stairs' to the old kitchens and mews.

Please Note: As Government House is the working residence and is a fully operational building, the Office of the Governor reserves the right to cancel tours. Names are to be provided of all Guests attending, photo ID required on the day.

Please note that bookings are essential and all tours must be booked in groups of four.
For Government House tours names of all guests must be provided in advance and photo ID is required on the day. As Government House is a working residence and a fully operational building, tours may need to be cancelled or rescheduled. Areas visited may also vary.
