The Dromana Estate Cellar Door and restaurant is one of the stars of the Mornington Peninsula, and located within the historic Tuerong homestead, just off the Mornington Peninsula Freeway.
The cellar door offers wine tasting of Dromana Estate's extensive range of wines including four prestigious brands; Dromana Estate is the flagship label, Mornington Estate has regional focus, i Range of Italian varietals and David Traeger wines.
The restaurant serves lunch five days a week in a casual dining environment with spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. They welcome tour groups and can cater for functions of up to 80 people.
'Dromana Estate has had a rather confused recent history, with relocations, ownership and personnel changes, but now everything is on track. The welcoming old Tuerong homestead, sited in a lovely space among tall trees and vines, is the centrepiece of Dromana Estate, with a comfortable restaurant serving top notch cuisine that belies the laid back feel of the place. Dromana Estate's wines include very good Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, and an eclectic mix of Italian varietals provides a uniquely different experience.' Ralph Kyte-Powell.
