Historical seaside Sorrento will again host its mouth watering food, wine and beer event Taste of Sorrento over the last weekend in May, and it is set to be the best yet.

The program will include a variety of gastronomical delights including master classes, cooking demonstrations, tutored tastings, degustations, gourmet menus, foodie's market and more, all in the heart of Sorrento Village.

The 2015 program is pleased to present high calibre chefs Daniel Wilson from Huxtable, Ian Curley from the European Group, Adam D'Sylva from Coda and television presenter and chef author Paul Mercurio. Also not to be missed is Masterchef Professional fourth place winner Michael Demagistris in a Masterclass dinner, expert winemaker Garry Crittenden and Geoff Lindsay from Dandelion Melbourne.

Sorrento Village will again host a foodie's market and 'taste' day where producers and provedores put out their best gourmet supplies whilst a series of demonstrations will be provided in the Marquee kitchen. Cooking with three ingredients, pasta making, plus a chance to win a KitchenAid with lots more on offer throughout the day.

This will be a great day for tasting, sipping, listening and indulging in the best that Sorrento and the Peninsula has to offer in food and wine.

With beautiful local produce and special menus on offer from local restaurants, all set in a spectacular historic seaside village at only 90 minutes south of Melbourne, Sorrento is the perfect place to indulge the senses.
