International Cool Climate Wine Show is an annual wine show offering participants and sponsors the opportunity of being involved in a world class event.Showcasing the best cool climate wines, the event attracts winemakers, vineyard owners, sommeliers and wine enthusiasts from around the world.The Red Hill Agricultural and Horticultural Society established the Cool Climate Wine Show in 2000 to help benchmark cool climate wines. Entries have increased from 373 in the first show to approximately 650.The 2014 event again had European entries which will attracted interest and publicity.The aims of the Wine Show are to raise the profile of cool climate wines, to judge comparable wines in an open competition format, to emphasise the styles predominantly produced from grapes grown in cool climates and to highlight quality, aged wines from cool climates.Please see the website for updated program information, critical dates and trophies on offer in 2016, as the information comes to hand.
