Mornington Peninsula Regional Gallery

03 59 754 395

Since its establishment in 1971, Mornington Peninsula Regional Gallery has grown to become one of Australia’s leading regional galleries, renowned for its exhibition program of Australian and international art. The Gallery conducts lectures, artist talks and workshops and often has an interactive children’s space with hands-on activities for kids.

The Gallery’s collection focuses on the cultural heritage of the Mornington Peninsula and contemporary Australian works on paper.

Upcoming exhibitions feature works by well-known Australian artists including Rover Thomas, John Olsen, John Wolseley, Rupert Bunny, Albert Tucker, Fiona Hall, Hans Heysen, Ginger Riley Munduwalawala and Constance Stokes.

Extend your visit with a stroll in the nearby rose garden, a picnic in the parklands, a play at one of the beautiful nearby beaches or meander down Main Street, the Peninsula’s largest seaside village.

The Gallery is the region’s major cultural facility and is supported by Mornington Peninsula Shire Council and other partners.
