A very full day out with Vinetrekker with emphasis on a wide range of wine accompanied by superb food and hinterland scenery.

Travel through to the south-east and visit the family owned and highly acclaimed Moorooduc Estate Vineyard at Moorooduc. One of the older vineyards on the peninsula, enjoy a tasting of their wines and cheese in the welcoming cellar door.

Close by is the Yabby Lake Vineyard, a more commercial operation. Enjoy a tasting of their beautifully crafted estate wines as well as a selection from their Red Claw label. Travel through to Salix where lunch, a glass of wine and coffee would be served in their restaurant.

After lunch, visit the quirky Balnarring Vineyard which is known for some of the more unusual varieties on the peninsula before travelling down to Flinders to taste the flavoursome delights at Mornington Peninsula Chocolates. Using fresh, local ingredients with Belgian and Swiss chocolate the flavours pack a punch and a little bit goes a long way.

On days when the Red Hill Cheesery is open (weekends), you will conclude the day there with artisan goats and cows milk cheeses, otherwise Stonier Wines is a terrific replacement.
