Anderson Heritage Suite

A grand historic suite offering king size four poster bed, gas log fire and large corner jacuzzi/spa in the spacious ensuite bathroom. Other amenities include high definition television, surround sound high definition system, bar refrigerator, tea/coffee making facilities, hotel-style personal combination safe, and full reverse cycle air-conditioning. The suite was originally part of the historic homestead dating back to 1870, and has been furnished in classic period furnishings and Persian rugs. Separate from our other accommodations, this suite offers absolute privacy, and its own terrace with outdoor furnishings for exclusive use. This is our genuine historic accommodations offering.1

Glen Isla Classic Deluxe Room

Purpose designed and elegantly furnished guest accommodations in classic heritage style with separate entrances opening onto the deck veranda overlooking the heritage gardens. Room amenities include Queen size bed, private ensuite (with shower) and walk-in luggage and dressing room. Fully air-conditioned, personal combination safe, television with DVD player, bar fridge, and tea and coffee making facilities. Guests seeking authentic historic accommodations should consider the Anderson Heritage Suite. (One of our Classic Deluxe rooms can be configured with twin single beds with 48 hours advance notice)6

Gate Cottage - Two Bedroom Self Cater Cottage

Set under two 100 year-old oak trees in the heritage gardens two bedroom or two storey self contained cottage, fully equipped kitchen and lounge with club leather suite, fully air-conditioned throughout HD television with DVD player. Master bedroom with king bed, second bedroom with twin single beds or option to be made-up as king bed with advance notice. Bedrooms and shared bathroom are upstairs. The Gate Cottage is offered as a self-cater cottage, self provision foodstuffs. Excellent supermarkets are available nearby in the village for provisions and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything to prepare meals. Guests wishing to take the restaurant-style breakfast in the main dining room should consider their Bed and Breakfast accommodations, Glen Isla Classic Rooms and the Anderson Heritage Suite.1

Local directions

GPS: S38 27.138 E145 13.297 On arrival into Cowes, Phillip Island, Church Street is at the third roundabout. Turn left into Church Street. Glen Isla is approximately one and a half kilometres on the right side. Look for the long white fence and black gates. The Glen Isla House sign is on the gate. (Note the Glen Isla Motel and Apartments next door is a separate business and has no association with the historic Glen Isla House property)
