Each Yurt is self contained with a compact kitchenette, coffee machine and barbecue facilities. All Yurts contain electric wood fire heaters and reverse cycle cooling in summer. Set on your balcony are private shower / toilet facilities for your convenience. A complimentary breakfast hamper filled with home grown and local produce is also provided in each Yurt.
Cancellation and booking policy
Being set in a Redgum forest is fantastic, however you should be aware of the possible dangers and risks inherent in a forest setting, including falling branches (especially on hot, still days); wildlife including insects, spiders, snakes, protective birds and kangaroos; tripping obstacles such as logs, concealed holes and shrubs.The Murray River has strong currents, submerged obstacles and speed boats.It is a condition of your stay with us they you and your guests agree to the following:children must be supervised at all times.Entry and use of Moama on Murray Resort is at your own risk.Lakes are not to be used for swimming.Do not dive into the Murray River or install or use any rope swing from a tree into the River (tarzan swings are now illegal and can result in police charges).All warning speed signs and guidelines displayed around the Resort must be adhered to.The following Resort Terms and Conditions must be adhered to:Deposits & Payments - A deposit of one night’s tariff at time of booking is required, equivalent to the highest night’s fee of your stay. For example, if you have a booking that has two nights at $160 and one night at $135, we will take a deposit of $160Balance of payments is required upon check in, along with presentation of a valid credit card to be recorded for security. A credit card surcharge is applicable for payments made by credit card. Extras Purchased - the operator will strive to ensure we can meet your booking requests for additional provisions and services (such as canoe hire, bike hire, high chairs, porta cots etc) All extras purchased online will be confirmed by our staff, upon confirmation of booking with us. If for any reason, the Operator is unable to provide you with an extra service you have booked, they will inform you at the time of booking, and will not charge you for those extras. Conversely, you will not be entitled to any compensation or discount should they fail to provide you with the extra service you have requested. Villas - Due to fire regulations, villas may only accommodate the amount of guests that there is existing bedding for. Please confirm with reception at time of booking the number of guests you require. For your own safety, it is prohibited to sit or swing on balcony railings.Some of our bunk beds do not contain bed rails, should you choose to use those beds for children you do so at your own risk. We also wish to advise that children under the age of nine years should not be permitted to use the top bunk and children must not play on the top bunk as per ASA Standards.Any damage incurred to larger items or appliances due to misuse or unruly behaviour will be at the costs of the guest. Smoking in Villas is prohibited and an extra charge of one night’s accommodation will be applied to guests who fail to adhere to this rule.The staff will describe the premises, position & furnishings to the best of their ability and in good faith. No responsibility or refunds for any alleged misunderstanding of that description can be accepted. Lost Items - All guests are responsible for keeping the property secure during their stay and will be responsible for any theft or damage due to personal neglect. No liability is accepted for any injury, debt, damage, loss, delay, expense or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by events beyond the control of the resort. No responsibility is taken for guests personal property left on or near the premises. It is recommended that guests take out personal property insurance or adequate travel insurance should any unexpected situations arise before or during your travel period.All guests are responsible for any loss or damage arising from breakages or other damage to the villa or common property during their stay, including any additional cleaning, removal of excess garbage, repairs or replacement of items on the property. Please do not move furniture around or move items from one location to another within the resort, as a fee may be charged should this occur. Noise - Please ensure that no interfering noise is created at any time. Noise before 7:00am or after 10:00pm is required to be kept to a minimum (that is, so that it cannot be heard by the next door neighbour). A breach of this rule will incur an additional charge should noise warnings be made. Multiple warnings will result in eviction from resort without refund.Alcohol & Behaviour of Invitees - Please enjoy the barbecue areas. Moama on Murray Resort is subject to new South Wales liquor laws. Unruly behaviour or intoxicated guests will not be tolerated and could result in:being expelled from the Resort without refund;Be liable for any damage you cause;the Operator may call the Moama Police and you may face charges.Underage drinking will be reported to Moama Police. You are responsible for the behaviour of your guests. As a condition of entry to the Resort guests must agree to abide by the Resort Rules.General Behaviour - It is of primary importance that all guests in the resort show respect for the enjoyment of others at all times. Abusive behaviour towards staff or other guests will not be tolerated. Failure to adhere to any resort rules may result in the person/persons being expelled from the resort and all future bookings will be declined.Guests - the Operators are happy to accommodate additional guests overnight providing there is adequate room within your villa and the maximum limit for the villa is not exceeded.All guests staying overnight must report to reception and will be charged $20 per person (including children) per night. Guest vehicles must be registered with reception and may be parked in the guest car park or at the villa once registered if the maximum vehicles for the villa is not exceeded.Vehicle & Boat / Trailer Parking & Speed Limits - Two vehicles only can be parked in the carport of each villa or one vehicle in the case of one bedroom villas. Vehicles and / or boats are not to be parked on any surrounding vacant land. You and your guests are to ensure cars are parked only in allocated areas. Under no circumstances are vehicles to be parked on the lawns as this will damage the sprinkler systems and damages will be charged to car owner. The speed limit within the resort is strictly 10km/h. Boats and trailers must be parked in one of the allocated car parks on each villa site and must not be parked on roads or anywhere other than provided car spaces. Riding to and from boat ramp or around resort on boat or jet ski is not permitted.Clotheslines and Bins - These are located beside Villa’s 5, 36, 73 & 120A. It is asked that these be used and that no additional lines be hung up surrounding the villa. The verandah railings are not to be used as clotheslines. Ski gear left drying on boats is to be stored out of sight as soon as it is dried. Bins have been positioned in various locations around the resort.Children & Bikes - You are responsible for your children. This is a wonderful resort for children but you must supervise them at all times and be aware of their whereabouts.There are many great tracks surrounding the resort. Bike riders must ride only in daylight hours and wear a helmet. Public road rules apply within the resort grounds.Pools - Moama on Murray Resort pools operate daily between 8:00am and 10:00pm. No bottles or glass are to be taken into these areas at any time. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Diving, bombing, running or unruly behaviour will not be accepted.Surrounding Bushland & Contruction Areas - As the Resort is in a forest, open fires are prohibited. No trees or shrubs are to be cut or felled. This includes dead trees or limbs. Please stay out of marked construction and "No Entry” areas. Before Departure - To avoid any additional fees – All rubbish must be removed; Dishes washed ( in dishwasher ok ); Villa stock returned to there original place. Failure to comply with the above may result in charges being made to your credit card.Pets - Pets are not permitted.Keys - If keys and/or remotes are lost you will be responsible for the cost incurred to change the locks and the replacement of 3 keys and swipe cards. Minimum charge $30.It is hoped that these Resort Rules & Terms and Conditions will assist all guests in having a thoroughly pleasant stay each and every time they visit .Your co operation is appreciated. visit .Your co operation is appreciated.Special Conditions apply for cancellations. While we always regret the necessity to impose charges upon guests who do not use the accommodation, we have found it necessary to make these charges. We hope that it will encourage guests to assist us by advising of any travel changes as early as possible so that we have the opportunity to relet the room with minimal loss. Cancellations received with less than 14 days notice of arrival date will forfeit the deposit paid. Cancellations received outside of this time will incur a $50.00 administration cancellation fee and the balance of deposit refunded. No refund for early departures is applicable. If a reservation is booked by another service, there cancellation policy overrides the cancellation policy of the reort. Management reserve the right to cancel or relocate any bookings at its discretion. We suggest you consider travel insurance to cover any losses incurred if unforseen circumstances force you to alter your travel plans.
