Mount Granya State Park is a dominant feature in the Upper Murray landscape. Its steep, forested slopes rise dramatically above Lake Hume and surrounding valleys to form prominent ridges and plateaus. The park has diverse vegetation and spectacular wildflowers.

Picnic at the Mount Granya Summit (950 m) and enjoy views of the surrounding valleys and distant mountains. The distinctive call of the Lyrebird is often heard on the nearby Lyrebird Walk.

Mount Granya State Park is located about 60 km east from Wodonga. Two-wheel drive access is available to the Mount Granya Summit and Cotton Tree Creek Picnic Area by following the signs from the Murray River Road.
