The Monichino Family Estate is highly regarded for its award-winning vintages. The vineyard was founded by Carlo Monichino in 1962, becoming a winery in 1972. The name Tramontino comes from the early days of the winery's existence when Carlo arrived and decided to name his vineyard Tramontino Vineyard, which translates from Italian as "little sunset". Monichino Winery is a picturesque setting for your wedding or next function with the appropriate ambience of the winery amid the towering barrels in our iconic barrel room with the rich nostalgic aroma of past vintages.
