The Mathoura Visitor & Business Centre offers an outdoor picnic area, wine tasting and sales, library, art and craft displays, internet access, business and conference facilities.The Centre offers all the information needed to enjoy a relaxing holiday in the Mathoura and Picnic Point area.

Mathoura is located a short drive north of Echuca and Moama and is gateway to the World's largest Redgum forest, magnificent rivers, creeks, wetlands of international significance and many nature-based activities. The collectively known Barmah-Millewa Forest is home to hundreds of species of birds, animals, plants and trees and many aboriginal sites. Mathoura has arguably the best access in the region to the Murray River, with good dry weather roads and no high banks.
The Gulpa Creek Reedbeds Bird Observatory is a must-see for visitors, as are the forest walks and Cadell fault.
