Adeline Bed and Breakfast was built in 1920 as a holiday cottage by a Melbourne solicitor to escape the city to the cooler hills of the Dandenong Ranges during the summer months'.
The cottage is divided into two spacious suites The total capacity for whole cottage occupancy is four people
It has been operating as a bed and breakfast since the early 1980s. The new owners have refurbished the cottage into two large stylish, three roomed self-contained apartments. All the modern comforts have been added, whilst retaining many of the period features like the high ceilings and beautiful headlight doors and windows

Each apartment has its own private entrance. There are outdoor sitting areas to sit and enjoy the beautiful cottage gardens, majestic mountain ash and golden Elm trees. The rooms all have garden views. Majestic apartment has a balcony sitting area and Fern cottage apartment has an outdoor decking area accessible from the sitting room

Both cottage apartments have fully equipped kitchen and dining rooms. The sitting rooms have central heating, open fires, air-conditioners and added touches like Alpaca rugs, fresh flowers and extra treats are included. The bedrooms have queen sized beds, luxury bed linen, bathrobes and slippers are provided. Both apartments have spa bathrooms. There is an extensive book library and a selection of current magazines to enjoy.

The cottage is within walking distance of the village of Mount Dandenong, with its cafes and restaurants. The villages of Olinda and Sassafras, the Rhododendron gardens and William Ricketts sanctuary are a few minutes by car from the accommodation.

In-house massage packages and body pampering treatments may be booked to enjoy in the comfort of your luxury apartment.
